Charles "Charlie" M. Anderson

Charles “Charlie” Matthew Anderson, Jr., 64, of Doylestown, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Born April 13, 1960 in Greenwood, SC, he was the son of the late Charles M. and Phyllis (Cutright) Anderson, Sr.

Charlie received his bachelor’s degree from Rider University and had a successful career as a financial advisor. He loved to laugh, made the best batch of mac n cheese you’ve ever tasted, and could fix just about everything he put his mind to—including his daughters’ unruly hair for childhood dance recitals.

Charlie lived his life constantly surrounded by family and friends, and his insatiable zest for life and unique ability to make others feel loved—even in their lowest moments—made him the heart and soul of every room. The town of Doylestown will surely miss him.

He is survived by his beloved fiancé, Christine Allen, his three children Ariel (Dan Brown), Cole (Nia Webb), and Alexis Anderson; as well as Christine’s son Tyler. Also survived by his 4 older sisters, Denise Remes (Rick), Debbie Anderson, Shelley Anderson, and Laura Anderson, and 9 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Friday, May 3, 2024 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:30 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandyridge Road), New Britain 18901.

Interment will held privately.

Contributions in Charles’ name can be made to Doylestown Health Foundation which will support the Woodall Center for Heart and Vascular Care.
