Robert S. Seamans

Robert S. Seamans, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Friday April 26, 2024 in his home surrounded by family. He was 81. He is predeceased by his dear wife, Loretta Seamans.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of George and Mary Seamans. He graduated from North Catholic High School then went on to marry the love of his life, Loretta, in 1963. Robert worked for Stan Harris & Company and ITE. In 1981, he went on to work with Loretta in the family painting business for 11 years, after which he worked at The Home Depot in the paint department before retiring.

Robert was a likeable person and was gifted with the ability to talk to anyone. He was always pleasant and smiling; he loved to tell stories, jokes and was known to be a prankster. In his earlier years, Robert loved to ski, play basketball and racquetball prior to a knee injury. His passion in life was golf and he loved to play the game with his family, friends, and most of all his daughter, Cheryl.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Lynn Blake and her husband Michael Blake, his sisters: Johanna Mangam, Diane Kitz and her husband, Joseph Kitz; a brother, Joseph Seamans and brother in law, Dennis Turner. He leaves grandchildren, Brooklyn and Mason Blake to cherish his memory. Robert is also survived by his Aunt Thelma, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his siblings, Elizabeth Blondo, Andrew Seamans, Edward Seamans and Sandra Turner.

 Family and Friends are invited to attend a Viewing on Tuesday May 7, 2024, 10:00am-12:00pm at St Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm. Interment private at the convenience of the family.
