Marjorie J. Proctor Solan
Marjorie J. Proctor Solan, 78, of Washington Crossing, PA died on Sunday, January 4, 2004, at Manor Care in Yardley PA.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Mrs. Solan was a resident of Washington Crossing PA for the past 54 years.
Mrs. Solan retired from New Jersey Manufactures Insurance Company where she worked as a Collection Clerk. Marjorie was an active volunteer with the Friends of the Library in Yardley. She enjoyed reading and doing her needlepoint. She will be deeply missed by her devoted family for she was truly a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Daughter of the late Emma Moore Proctor, she is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Edward G. Solan, her dear children and their spouses Dawn Kotkiewicz and her husband Jim of Langhorne, Karen Roman and her husband Michael of Langhorne, her father Paul Proctor of Yardley, one sister Audrey Jackson of Ewing Township NJ. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren James and Katie, also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Marjorie touched the lives of so many during her life time and made this world a better place for all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service Sunday, January 11, 2004 at 2:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd(at Holland Rd) Richboro PA where friends may call from 12:30 until her services at 2:00pm. Interment will be private in St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton, NJ.
