Cameron M. Smithwick of Ivyland and formerly of Flower Mound, TX died suddenly on Saturday, December 8, 2012. He was 19.
Born in Dallas, TX he was the beloved son of Michael G. and Angelia M. Carty Smithwick, paternal grandson of Tom and Donna Hobden and Gene and Carolyn Smithwick, maternal grandson of Teresa Mitchell and John Carty, paternal great-grandson of Jane Higgins and the late Rev. William B. Higgins Jr. and maternal great-grandson of the late Frankie Ramsey.
Cameron was a young man with the innate ability to make anyone laugh and smile whether or not they were having a good or bad day. He was enrolled to start college at Penn State in just a few weeks. He will be sadly missed by everyone who has come to know and love him.
In addition to his parents, grandparents and great-grandmother, Cameron is survived by his 3 sisters; Addison Smithwick, Faith Victoria and Grace Victoria, and his 2 brothers Noah deYHVH, and David Stewart III. He is also survived by his 3 uncles Daniel Swindle, Stephen and Phillip Smithwick, his 6 aunts Kim Carty, Leslie Smithwick, Gina Osbourn, Debbie Lightner, Brittany and Christina Hobden, numerous cousins, his “Big D” David Stewart II, and Nicole and Alicia Stewart.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Thursday, December 13, from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and on Friday, December 14, at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia 13500 Philmont Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19116 from 10:00am until his Funeral Service 11:00am.
His interment will be in Texas.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory should be made to the Cameron Smithwick Memorial Fund, c/o TD Bank, 1064 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18954.

As the parent of a CRN senior, this event touches so many of us living in this community. Your tears, your gut renching pain and the hopelessness you feel; are shared by strangers around you. My heart is hurting for your whole family right now over the loss of your beloved son Cameron. I am keeping Cameron & and all of you in my thoughts and prayers !
