Caroline M. Gallagher, of Chalfont, PA died suddenly on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia surrounded by her family. She was 15.
Born in Meadowbrook, PA she was the daughter of Kevin P. and Jean Prendergast Gallagher of Chalfont and sister of the late Michael Gallagher.
Caroline was currently in 10th grade at Central Bucks South High School having previously attended Saint Jude School and Unami Middle School, where she was the recipient of the Spanish Award in 9th grade. School was important to Caroline and she worked very hard for her grades. Her desire to achieve a 4.0 was evident and was finally obtained in her first quarter of 10th grade receiving a 4.025.
Academics were only one facet of Caroline. She was multi-talented and enjoyed many activities outside of school. From playing sports with her friends on the St. Jude CYO volleyball and St. Jude, Archdiocesan Championship Softball team in 2009 to her love of singing. She was heard over many years of participation in plays at St. Jude and Unami, Select Chorus at Unami, Teen Choir at St. Jude, and Chorus at Central Bucks South. Her singing exposure also advanced her onto the acting arena as a member of the Thespian Club at CB South. She was active in community service as a member of the Key Club at CB South, Camp Heart, Special Olympics, and volunteering as a Cheer Coach for the Warrington Warriors.
Caroline loved the beach, dogs, baking, and had a personality that drew you to her. She was a wonderful daughter, sister and friend who will long be remembered for her beautiful, wide smile that she shared with everyone.
In addition to her parents, Caroline is survived by her brothers, James P. and John J. Gallagher both of Chalfont, her maternal grandparents John and Margaret O’Kane Prendergast of Philadelphia, and paternal grandmother Delia O’Connor Gallagher of Philadelphia. She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather James P. Gallagher.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday, November 17, 2011, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and her Funeral Mass, Friday, November 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA 18914. Her interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

I did'nt know your love one, but reading her obituary she was a wonderful daughter,sister,granddaughter and friend.I know she will be greatly missed. Your family have my heartful condolences. Death was not God original purpose that we have our love ones with us for a short period of time and to have them fall to sleep in death.He created us to live forever. The Bible call death a enemy.Isaiah 25:8 tell us that God will swallow up death forever.And no resident will say they are sick Isaiah 33:24 God made away out for us when he sent his son Jesus Christ on earth to die for us. Rev.21:4 tell us that God will wipe out all our tears from our eyes and death will be no more.He also promise us that the whole earth will be made into a paradise,so when our love one are raised to life John 5:28,29 they would not be raised to life in to a world filled with war,crime and sickness.They will have a oppotunity to live forever on this earth in peaceful and happy conditions.God is a God that does not lie Isaiah 55:11. So when you have sometime please read these wonderful promise of God in your copy of your Bible and remember that God care for you.
