Ethel S. Lee of Yardley, PA died on February 12, 2012 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 93.

She was the wife of the late Frederick A. Lee and the late Albert Brodeur.

Born in Webster, Massachusetts she was the daughter of the late Otto and Selma Kosmaler Lorenz and sister of the late Howard and Frederick Lorenz.

Ethel was very fortunate to have experienced many different cultures and lived in Saudi Arabia; Cape Elizabeth, Maine; Union, Connecticut; and Fellsmere, Florida before moving to Yardley in 2003. Having lived overseas for 15 years she enjoyed traveling to many different countries and was able to visit relatives living in the Netherlands, Indonesia, and Lebanon.

Although primarily a homemaker, she enjoyed working as a nurse’s assistant for a number of years in the nursery of Day Kimball Hospital in
Putnam, Connecticut. She was an accomplished seamstress, a former bridge player and an avid reader who always enjoyed a good mystery. She especially enjoyed being with her family and going out to dinner on Saturday nights. She will be sadly missed by her devoted family and many friends.

She is survived by her son Russell Brodeur and wife Karen of Holland, and a brother Warren Lorenz of Ft. Lauderdale FL, her stepchildren John Lee, William Lee and Jane Lee Nikelaou. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christine, Cheryl, Allison and David and step-grandchildren Michelle, John Jr., Jesse, Nicole, Jennifer and William Jr.
Her funeral services and interment will be held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
