George E. Taylor, of Doylestown died on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Neshaminy Manor. He was 87.

He was the beloved husband of the late Gloria Woll Taylor.

Born in Bridgeville, DE, he was the son of the late Charles and Ann Short Taylor, and father of the late George E., Theresa and Helen Taylor.

He is survived by his eight children; Charles J. and Kathy Taylor of Line Lexington, PA, Gloria T. Phillips and Lawrence Payne of Chalfont, Joseph E. and Diane Taylor of Churchville, Mary Catherine Taylor of Hatfield, Gera Marie and Donald Mollica of Lansdale, John C. and Marybeth Stevenson -Taylor of Hershey, Edward G. Taylor of Lansdale, James G. and Michelle Taylor of Doylestown, his brother Richard Taylor, his 4 sisters, Elizabeth Volk, Josephine Farley, Jeanette Smith, and Mary Robb. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and his Aunt Minnie O'Day.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 9:30 am until his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 East State St., Doylestown, PA 18901.

His interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Neshaminy Manor Garden, 1660 Easton Rd., Warrington, PA 18976.
