Marjorie R. Boaman, formerly of New Britain, PA, died peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2012, at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. She was 82.

She was the beloved wife of James A. Boaman for 61 years.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Agnes Barto Hawk.

She spent her nursing career at St. Joseph Hospital and also private nursing duty.

Marjorie devoted her life to her family and she left a profound and positive impact on all those she knew and met with her zest for life. She was a devoted Catholic, an avid gardener, enjoyed reading, and conquering cross word puzzles.

Marjorie especially loved family get-togethers, she looked forward to family vacations at the Jersey Shore, and road trips where she and Jim could serendipitously discover and explore new places.

Marjorie had a great sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and a quick wit that endeared her to everyone who knew her. Her family and everyone that knew her are far richer for having her in their lives. Marge was so dearly loved by her family and they will forever miss her beauty, her smile, her humor, her wisdom, and her loving ways. She lived a beautiful life and has left a legacy of love, kindness, and strength in her wake.
