Donald J. Howard

Donald Howard, age 82 of New Hope, PA passed away on May 19, 2018 from complications of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).

Don was born and raised in the Hamilton Grange section of New York City; and attended Annunciation School and Rice High School. Don graduated from Manhattan College, New York University and Fordham University with degrees in Chemistry, Business and Law.  He was a member of New York Bar Association. Don was a patent attorney for Mobil Oil in New York City and Alexandria, VA for 35 years before retiring in 1994. 

As a child, Don grew up in New York City and enjoyed playing stickball and was a fanatic Brooklyn Dodger fan. Don loved his Brooklyn/LA Dodgers and was an avid collector of Dodger memorabilia throughout his life. A cat lover, Don owned many cats during his life, and was a volunteer for many cat shelters over the years.

He is predeceased by his wife Jodi (Stenz) Howard, his sister Barbara Howard, brother Ronald Howard, and parents Joseph and Jean Howard.

He is survived by his sister- in- law Kathleen Falkenstein, brothers- in- law Daniel Falkenstein, Joseph Stenz and Louis Barr;  nephews and nieces, many devoted friends and his devoted care taker Terri Nagel.
