Ann T. Pontarelli (Montini)

Ann T. ( Montini) Pontarelli, recently of Ann's Choice, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9, 2018. She was 83.

She was the beloved wife to the late Anthony R. Pontarelli.

Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter to the late Peter and Sara Sciulli Montini.  She moved to Holland, PA in 1971 and retired to The Villages, FL in 2003.  After the death of her husband, she returned to the area in 2012 and resided at Ann's Choice in Warminster.

Ann loved to play cards, board games and any other activity that involved people, be it with her grandkids or the ladies at Ann's Choice.  As a comercial artist for many years, she loved to draw and would also offer her services as a painter with countless murals of beach scenes which would remind her of her time in Florida.  Ann was also an avid reader, never without a dog-earred novel in her possession.

Ann is survived by her loving children; Anthony M. Pontarelli and his wife Maureen, Lisa A. Denove and her husband Peter, and Mark A. Pontarelli, 6 grandchildren, Anthony, Carla, Nicholas, George, Madeline and Nicholas.  She is also survived by her siblings, Antionette Pody (Hugh) and Peter Montini, she was pre-deceased by her sisters, Marie R. Guarrieri and Caroline DelCasale.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 9:00am until her Funeral Mass 10:00am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. Her interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
