Michael Cozzo Jr.

Michael Cozzo, Jr of Holland died Thursday, August 9, 2018 at his resident at Twining Manor in Holland. He was 93.

Born in Philadelphia, Michael was the son of the late Michael and Rosina Nardi Cozzo.

Michael was born and raised in South Philadelphia where he had lived most of his life until he moved to Twining Village in Holland. True to his South Philadelphia roots, he was known for being an avid mummers fan.  Michael enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies and his favorite players were Pete Rose and Mike Schmidt and he will be also deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

Michael is survived by his nieces, Carol D’Orazio of Jamison and Gail Sacharczak of Holland with many other additional nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 9:00am until his Funeral Mass 10:00am on Monday, August 13th in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. Michael’s interment will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Twining Village Benevolent Association, 280 Middle Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966.
