Dolores Cymbala (Schaller)

Dolores Cymbala of Newtown died Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at her daughter’s residence in Newtown, PA surrounded by her loving family. She was 80 years old.

Dolores was the beloved wife of 60 years to Frank P. Cymbala.

Born in Washington DC, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Helen (Fachet) Schaller and the grandmother of the late Nicholas Cymbala.

Dolores had been a recent resident of Newtown, PA and had formerly resided in the Olney section of Philadelphia and Churchville, PA. She had worked for many years along with her husband in her son, Frank P. Cymbala Jr’s business. Dolores was an avid reader and her true passion and joy was spending quality times with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be truly missed by her family and by all who came to know her.

In addition to her beloved husband Frank, Dolores is survived by her children and their spouses; Frank P. Cymbala Jr. and his wife Linda of Lower Gwynedd, PA and her daughter Karen Egan of Newtown, PA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Erin, Joseph and Daniel Egan and her brother Dr. Richard Schaller and his wife Nanette of Allentown, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family from 8:30am to 10:00am on Saturday, August 18th at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30am in the Church of St. Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Dolores’s interment will be privately held by the family.
