Robert A. McCarty

Robert A. McCarty of Warrington, PA and formerly of Newtown died peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.  He was 91.

Robert was the beloved husband of the departed Terry Maier McCarty and father of the late Kelly M. McCarty.

Born in Boston, MA he was the son of the late John and Margaret White McCarty.

Robert was a longtime resident, over 60 years, of Newtown where he raised his five children. He was a designer who loved to work with people in transforming their homes, and later he was the owner operator of Clark’s flower shop with his late wife, Terry. Robert loved to travel and spent summers with his family in Sandbridge Virginia. He enjoyed time with friends, long walks in the park, gardening, and reading a good book.

Robert is survived by his loving and devoted children TJ McCarty and his wife Cindy of Hesperia, CA, Melissa Kunkel and her husband Martin of Doylestown, Bridget Ashbaugh and her husband Tim of Doylestown, and Timothy McCarty of Langhorne.  He is also survived by his eight loving grandchildren and seven dear great grandchildren.

Services and interment for Robert were held privately at Newtown Cemetery.
