Robert "Bob" Thomas Phelan

Robert T. Phelan, a Vietnam War Veteran and longtime resident of Richboro, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the age of 75 years old.

Bob, as he was referred to, was born on June 8, 1948, to the late Thomas and Louise Phelan. Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Rosemarie Phelan and was the loving father of beloved daughter Kimberly Wolfram. Bob was the brother of the late Thomas Phelan, Jr. and is survived by his sisters Patricia Maguire and Carolyn Hunt, and brother Martin Phelan. He will be greatly missed by his whole family including many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

Bob grew up in Mayfair and graduated from Father Judge High School. He served in the United States Army between 1968 and 1970 before returning home to his family in Philadelphia. Bob went on to take night courses at college later in life and worked in various jobs as a quality control engineer.

Bob was always telling beautiful stories and shared memories involving his loving family members, dear friends, and other loved ones. He enjoyed attending car shows and vacationing at his Pocono Mountain home for numerous years. Bob was an excellent handyman and mechanic who helped shape his family home and extended his many skills to his family and friends. He enjoyed rooting for the Philadelphia sports teams and loved a good Philadelphia cheesesteak even more. Bob always enjoyed spending time at home with his wife, daughter, and the family dogs.
