Michael G. McCrane

Michael G. McCrane of Richboro formerly of Southampton.  Died peacefully on Tuesday Feb 20, 2024 at Kindred Hospital with his family by his side. He was 75.

Born in Philadelphia he was the beloved husband of 48 years to Ellen A.  Rutter McCrane, devoted son of the late Edmond and Anna Rose Craig McCrane.

Michael was a graduate of North Catholic High School; class of 1969, a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Conflict.  Michael worked for PGW in the Building Services Department for over 15 years and prior to that at Hussman Refrigeration. 

Michael was a proud member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians for over 42 years and was very involved in their charity endeavors.  He was awarded Life Membership in 2010 at the National Convention for his dedicated years of service. 

In addition of his beloved wife Michael is survived by his devoted children, Christine Schoettle (Francis) and Michael J. McCrane (Mary). Brother of Edmond McCrane (Kate), Vincent McCrane (Rosemarie), John McCrane (Kathleen), late Robert McCrane, Anna Nolan (late William) and Elizabeth Holder (Paul). Devoted grandfather of Shane and Owen Schoettle. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro and on Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church 654 Hatboro Rd. Richboro from 9:00am until his Funeral Mass 10:00am. Int. Resurrection Cem. Bensalem.

Contributions in his memory may be made to AOH Division #61,  4131 Rhawn St. Phila, PA 19136 for the Harry B. Rutter Scholarship Fund.
