Sharleen Lees (Grube)

Sharleen Lees, of Rushland died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.  She was 80.

Born in Abington, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles Grube Sr. and Lillian Ahlers Grube, sister of the late Valerie Funke and the devoted companion and best friend of the late William J. Lees III.

Also known as Gammy, Sharleen was a simple easy going and at times sassy little lady up until the very end.  She was intelligent and caring and just so easy to talk to and never judged anyone.  She loved to sit and talk with you and drink her bud lights and her door was always open.  She loved playing her on-line scrabble game with people from all over the world.  She was as salt of the earth as they come and loved her family and friends more than anything in this world.

Sharleen is survived by her loving and devoted children William J. Lees IV and Michele K Grzelak and her husband John Spreng.  She is also survived by her adoring granddaughters Veronica Anne Lees and Kylie Michele Spreng her brother Charles Grube Jr., her brother-in-law Barry Funke and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
