Gerald "Jerry/Luffy" Vincent Luff

Gerald “Jerry/Luffy” Vincent Luff, lifelong resident of Wycombe, died on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was 78 years old.

Jerry was the beloved longtime companion of Jean Boccelli. The couple shared over 25 years of friendship, love and good memories.

Born in Abington, PA, Jerry was the son of the late Vincent Charles and Elizabeth Cornell Luff. He was a graduate of Council Rock High School, Class of 1964. Jerry served in the US Army from 1967-1969, and he spent a year in Vietnam serving his country. He went to work with Crompton and Seitz for 19 years. He started Jerry Luff Excavating in 1984 and maintained the company for 28 years. Jerry was a member of Newtown Legion Post 440.

In addition to Jean Boccelli, Jerry is survived by his son, Doug Luff; his three sisters, Peggy and her late husband Gerald DeYoung, Phyllis and her husband Thomas Orrino, and Terri and her late husband Daniel Pagnotta. He will be missed by Jean’s children, Brian and his wife Maryann Boccelli, and Debbie and her husband Bob McIntosh; and Jean’s grandchildren, Bobby McIntosh, Brianna Boccelli and Hayden Boccelli. He was cherished by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Jerry’s family on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 10:00am, until the start of his Funeral Tribute, at 1:00pm, at the Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Road (at Holland Road) in Richboro, PA 18954. His interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Richboro, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project at PO Box 758517 in Topeka, KS 66675.
