Alan B. Breece

Alan B. Breece, 82 years old of Langhorne, PA passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 4, 2024. He was born in 1941 to the late Frank Breece and Helena Black in Croydon, PA where he was raised until moving to Langhorne in 1990.

Alan spent his summers with his mother and family during his childhood and youth in Broadtop, PA. He served in the United States Army National Guard and went on to become an accountant and retired from International Union Operating Engineers, Local 542. Alan enjoyed cruising with his family and friends, bowling and softball. Alan continued to play until the age of 65 and was given the nickname “Old” by his bowling team. He loved his cats who loved sitting curled up under his beard. Most of all Alan was a huge Phillies and Eagles fan.

He is survived by his loving wife, Faith Breece (Mousley); children, Carol Hayman (Ed), Rob Finsel (Debbie), Scott Finsel (Leeann) and Michelle Finsel; 8 grandchildren, one great grandson, several sisters and brothers-in law and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, March 9th from 10am-11am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA. A celebration of life will follow. Interment will take place at Newtown Cemetery, 600 Newtown-Yardley Road, Newtown, PA. The family is requesting for guests to wear Phillies attire to the services to represent Alan the way he would have wanted.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to honor Alan’s love for his cats to: Bingo Foundation Cat Shelter and Rescue at PO Box 7130, Penndel, PA 19047 or https://bingosfoundation.org.
