Elaine "Naine" M. White (Lumley)

Elaine M White, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, died peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at her home in Langhorne, PA. She was 95 years old.

Elaine, or “Naine”, as she was lovingly referred to, was the beloved wife of the late Thomas B White. They had been married for almost 40 years at the time of Thomas’ death in 1991.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Naine was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Collins) Lumley; sister of the late Harry J Lumley Jr. and Mary Rita (John J,) McFadden.  

Naine will be missed and remembered by her sister-in-law Patricia Lumley, her nieces and nephews, whom she loved as her own children: Meg Hight (late Gene), Eileen and Carl Hiller, Donna and John McFadden, Debbie and Terry McFadden, Julia Realley (late Terry), Nancy and Tim Averill, Kathy and Tim McFadden, Lori and Kevin Lumley and Liza and Terry Lumley. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may greet Elaine’s family from 10:00am, until the start of her Funeral Mass at 11:00am on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church at 999 Reading Avenue in Yardley, PA 19067. Her interment will follow at St. Dominic Cemetery in Philadelphia.
