Joan A. Meierdiercks (Geiger)

Joan Alice Meierdiercks of Southampton Estates and Formerly of Holland died peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2024.  She was 89.

Joan was the beloved wife of 65 years to Walter Meierdiercks.

Born and raised at Justa Farm in Huntingdon Valley, PA Joan was the youngest daughter of the late Wilson Erb and Jonetta Hoffman Geiger.

Joan enjoyed tending to her yard and cultivating the flowers in her gardens.  She was known by many to be excellent in the kitchen cooking meals and baking deserts.  Joan was an avid reader and dedicated wife.  She worked alongside her husband for over twenty years and in her spare time she volunteered at her church on various sponsored missions and church events.  Joan will be greatly missed, but eternally loved by everyone who had the pleasure to have been in her life and loved by her.

In addition to her loving and devoted husband Walter, Joan is survived by her sisters Florence Bauhot and her husband George of Warminster and Evelyn Chester of Southampton.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Joan’s family will receive friends on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10:00am until her Funeral Service 11:00am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Addisville Reformed Church, 945 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18954
