Charles J. Werneth Sr.

Charles J. Werneth, Sr. of Holland died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.  He was 90.

Charles was the beloved husband of 58 years to the late Rita M. Reilly Werneth

Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Marie Werneth.

Charles was a proud United States Marine who served his country during the Korean War.  He was an accomplished Mechanical and Electrical Engineer who contributed greatly to today’s technological advancements, but above all Charles was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Charles is survived by his loving and devoted children Theresa Nagel, Charles Werneth, Jr., Sandra Werneth-Leonard, Robert Werneth, Laurie Werneth-Jones, and Michael Werneth. He is also survived by his10 loving grandchildren and 8 great Grandchildren.

Charles’ Family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 11:00AM until his Funeral Service at 12 Noon in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment with Military Honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
