Doris Roberts (Reed)

Doris Roberts of Newtown, PA died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family on Thursday, March 14, 2024.  She was 84.

Doris was the beloved wife of Thomas R. Roberts for over 64 years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Marian Dager Reed.

Doris loved being a homemaker and part-time child caregiver. She volunteered in the office and helped in the library of Wycombe Baptist Church where she was a member and deaconess for over 53 years. Doris enjoyed collecting baskets and was well-known for her hand-stamped greeting cards.

She loved her family and loved her Lord Jesus Christ to whom she gives all the glory.

Doris was proceeded in death by her sister Marian L. Walton and Grandson Army Specialist Nicholas D. Roberts who was killed in service to our country on April 29, 2015.

In addition to her beloved husband Tom, Doris is survived by her loving and devoted children Kim Magee and her husband Terry of New Cumberland, PA, Tom Roberts and his wife Laura of Aldie, VA, and David Roberts and his wife Kathy of Hellertown, PA.  She is also survived by 8 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Services and Interment were held privately for Doris at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville, PA.
