Janice L. Holmes (Wister)

Janice L. Holmes (Wister), of Churchville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on April 11, 2024, at the age of 77, surrounded by her loving family.

Jan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1947 to the late James and Louise Wister.
She was a graduate of Northeast High School in Philadelphia.  
For many years, Jan served as a cafeteria aide at Klinger Junior High School and at the Southampton Day Camp in Southampton, Pennsylvania.  She was an avid shopper, enjoyed jewelry, and was a loving Mommom; always making sure that her grandkids were taken care of.

Jan is survived by her dedicated husband of nearly 56 years, Ernest Holmes; three children, Scott Holmes (Brenda), Rob Holmes (Rebecca), and Jimmy Holmes (Courtney); as well as her brother James Wister (Jan); and five grandchildren, Joey, Christopher, Shawn, Peyton, and Ethan.

Family and friends are invited to visit Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 AM. A private interment will take place at Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to LIFE St. Mary, 2500 Northgate Drive, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053.
