Condolences for Thomas E. Turner

Michael MackMonday, January 22nd

I am devastated by the news of Tom's passing. He was a special man who influenced the lives of so many. Although it has been over 20 years since I graduated from La Salle, I often think of the lessons and advice Tom gave me over my high school years. Like so many others, Tom helped me get through some tough times- for that, I will always be grateful, and forever in his debt.

Tom is one of the finest educators and greatest man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

May God be with the Turner family during this time.

To Tommy's family and friends who loved him, I send my deep-felt condolences for your loss. I knew Tommy, many years ago, as his late brother, Michael was a dear friend to me and my family. Tommy was fun, friendly, talented and good-looking; and it saddens me to know of his untimely passing. God bless all of you as you cope with your loss. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord; and may perpetual light shine upon him. Sincerely, John Maher

I am so sad at hearing this news last night of Tom's passing. I had the privilege of playing with Tom at St. Joe's and then watching some of his coaching career there. He is a special friend, teammate, coach father and husband whom I will miss even from far away. My deepest condolences to Michelle, Brigid and Mary Catherine. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and always.
