I miss Wayne already. When I see something interesting or have an idea, the guy I would bounce it to is no longer there.
Anyone who knew Wayne knew that he was brilliant. They would also know how much he loved his daughters and their families.
0ne day he was telling me how proud he was of Bonnie and Kim; the things they had achieved and the women they had become; how pleased he was at the quality of the men they had married, and the joy their children gave him(he often sent pictures of them).
Having said all that, he then said, "I think I've won". And he has.

I worked with Wayne for decades and we shared many conversations, not just about games and puzzles, but about TV, movies, sports, and our kids and later our grandkids. Even when we stopped working together, these conversations continued by email along with photos of the babies. He adored his family. For a brainiac he had a lot of opinions on current pop culture. He was one of a kind.

I worked with Wayne for several years at Kappa, where I always enjoyed his dry sense of humor and quirky take on things. Wishing peace and strength to all who loved him.
