Condolences for Doris "Dorie" O'Donnell (Mack)

Maureen HickeySunday, March 10th

Dorie's love and devotion to Our Lord, her husband Ray and her family knew no bounds. While she was a wealth of information around her faith, she taught much without using words. She cared deeply about anyone who crossed her path and had a knack for turning a stranger into a friend with her first, "hello." She was so very talented in teaching the faith to the children of St Bede's and it has been said that she was the longest serving CCD teacher in the Archdiocese. She would blush to think she has been called an "icon" at St. Bede"s but she was truly that special. That first pew on the left "after the break" will always hold special memories. May her reward be great in His Kingdom!
We will surely miss her.

Audrey MentoTuesday, March 12th

Dorie exemplified her Christian faith, being a friend, teacher, and mentor to all who came in contact with her. She gave new meaning to the word "devoted" when caring for her husband Ray. She was one of the most reliable Greeters at St. Bede's, and you could always find her and Ray in the vestibule greeting and talking with just about everyone who entered the Church. Her devotion to her students was unmatched, and she truly found her calling in teaching. She loved spending time with her family, and no distance was too great to drive to pick up or drop off a niece or nephew. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we can all take comfort in the fact that she is reunited with Ray and surely in God's presence.
