Elizabeth A. Stine (Carroll)

Elizabeth Stine of Richboro and formerly of Hulmeville died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving and devoted family on Friday, April 19, 2024.  She was 78.

Elizabeth was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Stine Sr. and the loving mother of the late Ritamarie Stine.

Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Rita McKendrey Carroll and sister of the late Hugh Jr., William, Francis, Kevin, and Brian Carroll.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving and devoted children: Thomas Stine Jr. and his wife Linda, Patrick Stine and his wife Joanne, Teresa “Tracy” Rodriguez and her husband Elvin, Matthew J. Stine and his wife Erin, and Christopher J. Stine and his wife Ashley.  She is also survived by her sisters Patricia Mount and Rita Slipp, her brother Timothy Carroll (Maryellen), thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Elizabeth was a devoted nurse for over 60 years. She loved casinos, gambling, and her daily lottery. Besides her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed being surrounded by people who loved her and thrived with her company.

Whether it was being the neighborhood doctor, hairstylist, local piercer, or craft connoisseur, self proclaimed, Pretty Betty, did all she could to leave a lasting impression on anyone she met.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 12 Noon in St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road Holland, PA 18966.  Her interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society.
