Born in Philadelphia to Arthur Berndt and Clara Agnes Hoyle, Agnes graduated from high school and began a successful career. She spent 14 years as a secretary at Tidewater Oil and also impressed her personal physician with her administrative skills. Agnes thrived in this role for 25 years, retiring at 62 and even continuing as a personal assistant to the family of the director.

Beyond her career, Agnes had a zest for life. She loved ballroom dancing, traveling, and playing bridge with her beloved husband, Bill.  She had a passion for music, including playing the piano, listening to big band music, especially her favorite, Tony Bennett.  Agnes was active in the Huntingdon Valley Women's Club and enjoyed reading extensively. Most importantly, Agnes cherished her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara R. Huber and her husband Richard, her three grandchildren: Denise May and her husband Jon of Smithfield, VA, Carolyn Wieder and her husband Darren of Chesterfield, VA and Richard Huber and his wife Jennifer of Chalfont, PA, as well as her eight great-grandchildren: Stephen May, Nicole Nelson and her husband Philip, Jack May, Jamie Wieder, Brian Wieder, Catherine Huber, Julie Huber and Richard Huber.
