Nancy Schmukler (Fortuna)
Nancy Schmukler, 76, a long-time resident of Newtown passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26th, 2024.
Nancy was the beloved wife of Charles Schmukler for 54 years.
Nancy was the loving mother of Kim Wisniewski (Mike Wisniewski), Rick Schmukler (Michele Schmukler), proud grandmother to Lauren and Anthony Aliberto; Taylor Simpkins (Brandon Simpkins); Ryan, Allison, and Meagan Schmukler. She is Survived by her brothers Gerald and Michael Fortuna and her sister Diane Capra, and was predeceased by her sister Eileen Small. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, and mom-mom.
Nancy loved bingo, going on cruises with her husband Charles, and spending time with her children and grandchildren for holiday dinners and pool trips. Nancy will always be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and her ability to always put a smile on everyone’s face. Those lucky enough to have known Nancy share in the memories of her giving spirit. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
Friends and family are asked to attend her celebration of life on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home at 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the celebration of life starting at 11:00 a.m. Her interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made in Nancy’s name to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
