Ronald Bishof

Ronald A. Bishof of Newtown and Holland died on Sunday, March 31, 2019, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 51.

Born in Norwalk, CT, Ron was a resident of Newtown and Holland community for most of his life. He was the beloved son of Robert A. and Alba Esposito Bishof.

Ron was a graduate of Council Rock High School, class of 1986 and received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University in 1990. He proudly served in the United States Army, as a Special Agent-Economic Crimes Team Chief, US Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID) at Ft. Wainwright, AK, Ft. McClellan, AL, Ft. Irwin, CA and Ft. Huachuca, AZ.

After his service to his country, Ron went on to get a Master of Science in Cybersecurity (MS) from LaSalle University, and was presently an Adjunct Professor, in Cybersecurity Analyst at Gwynedd Mercy University. He also worked as an Insurance Fraud Investigator for Titan Investigative Alliance, LLC.

Ron enjoyed playing football for Council Rock and West Chester, hiking and spending time on the beach in Avalon, NJ. He was a huge Eagles and Phillies fan and loved being with family and friends.  Ron made everyone laugh and smile when he walked in a room.

In addition to his parents, Ron is survived by his devoted son, Seamus M. Bishof, his brother, Ryan A. Bishof, and his sister Roberta A. DeSei and her husband Anthony. He is also survived by 2 nieces; Cassandra and Adriana.

Ron’s family will receive condolences on Saturday,April 6, from 12:45 pm until his Funeral Mass 1:45 pm at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland. His interment with Military Honors will take place at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
