George C. Weller

George C. Weller of Churchville died Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Holy Redeemer Hospice in Meadowbrook surrounded by his loving family. He was 77.

George was the beloved husband of 29 years to Barbara Kamens Weller.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles G. and Katheryn Brown Weller and the father of the late Jennifer Lathbury.

George was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Churchville in 1992. He was a talented electrician that had worked with the Budd Company and eventually with L3 Technologies both in Philadelphia from 2008 until 2011. He was a proud member of the IBEW Local 98 in Philadelphia for many years and in his leisure time enjoyed gardening, shooting and hunting with his family. George will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

George is survived by his beloved daughters, Megan B. Hanley of Wilmington, DE and Holly Martinez of Churchville. He is also survived by his sister Sandra Weller of New Hope and his 3 cherished grandchildren Cassidy, Brianna and Shayne.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 10:00am  until his Funeral Service 11:00am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. George’s interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of a donor’s choice.
