Walter Grove

Walter H. Grove, Jr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, surrounded by his family. He was 81.

Walt was the beloved husband of Patricia C. Rossi Grove for 47 beautiful years.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Walter H. and Ann Marie Fee Grove, and brother to Marie Grove Comerford and Dennis Grove.

Walt graduated from Holy Angels grammar school and Trenton Catholic Boys’ High School. He received his BS in Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Walt was a Marketing Director/Vice President at several direct marketing companies in the US and Canada. In1987, Walt opened his own quick-oil change company in Rhode Island. He sold the company in1992 and he, Pat and their daughter, Heather, moved to PA. Walt got his brokers license in PA and NJ. He retired in 2017.

Walt enjoyed fishing, walking on the boardwalk and sitting with Pat on the front porch of their Ocean City home. However, his greatest joy was spending time with their children and grandchildren. They were his happiness and he is adored and loved very much by them all. Two days before he passed, he was thrilled to learn that he and Pat would be great-grandparents in April.

In addition to his wife, Walt is survived by his loving children; Marc Grove, Scott Grove (Lisa), and Heather Lubieski (Jeff), as well as his 5 grandchildren; Scotty(Alison), Marc, Jr (Morgan), Owen, Cooper and Evie Rose.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. His interment at All Saints Cemetery will take place privately by the family.
