Claude A. Raudenbush

Claude A. “Snapper” Raudenbush of Holland PA died peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Birches in Newtown.  He was 88. 

Snapper was the devoted husband of the late Nancy Reedman Raudenbush with whom he shared 56 years of marriage until her death in 2012.

Born in Ashland, PA he was the son of the late William and Alverta Semrode Raudenbush and brother to the late Janet Sokol. 

Snapper worked for 40 years as a Lineman for Philadelphia Electric Company in the Penndel and Newtown areas until his retirement in 1990.

His favorite past times included following the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers as well as local high school sports.  Snapper was also a member of the Neshaminy Senior Center, was very active with the Neshaminy N Club and was a baseball and football coach with the Lower Southampton Athletic Association.

Surviving are his children, Glenn Raudenbush of Mantua, NJ, Gail Raudenbush of Levittown, PA, and Bonnie DiMeglio and her husband Vincent of Langhorne. He is also survived by his 7 loving grandchildren; Brad, Shelly, Heather, Amanda, David, Danielle and Holly; 7 great-grandchildren, Carter, Chase, Bryce, Bennett, Ada, Landon, and Carson; his sister Nancy Eisele and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service via Live Stream on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM by visiting  https://www.fluehr.com/obituary-detail.php?obitid=4613 and are also invited to attend in person his graveside service at 12:00 PM in Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA 19053 where guests are asked to assemble at the main cemetery entrance by 11:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market St., Ste. 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
