D'Wayne M. Henriksson

D’Wayne M. Henriksson of Chalfont died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. He was 44.

D’Wayne was the loving husband of Jacqueline M. (Smith) Henriksson and devoted father to their children Mikayla and Mason. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Robert and Elizabeth Musick Henriksson. His mom raised him in the Northeast, where her love and strength shaped him into the incredible man he became.

It was during his time at Delaware Valley College that he and Jackie would meet and fall in love. D’Wayne and Jackie were the best of friends. Together they shared 18 years of marriage, life, love, and family. D’Wayne fiercely and openly adored his family. He hardly ever missed an event/game/party that involved Jackie, Mikayla, or Mason, always on the sidelines or in the auditorium, driving carpool or simply spending quality time with them.

D’Wayne was self-employed as a Process Server, having been trusted by countless attorneys throughout Bucks County to assist in their processes. His patience and kindness was a huge part of his success in the field.

A dedicated coach and volunteer for PA Rush Soccer Club, D’Wayne earned the respect and trust of so many young soccer players and fellow coaches. His commitment to the club was evident in the amount of time he spent not only mentoring his young players, but also helping behind the scenes with facilities and club operations, including making sure his players had rides to games and practices.

As a friend, D’Wayne was unmatched. He never hesitated to help when needed or summoned, always offered assistance or comfort when and wherever he could, and treated his friends’ kids as his own. His shining influence will continue to be felt by everyone he encountered.

D’Wayne was an avid outdoorsman and together with his family enjoyed countless camping trips, which always included boating and fishing among many other activities. He loved spending time with his family, in their RV, exploring, and with close friends around a campfire.

In addition to his wife and children, D’Wayne leaves behind his mother Betty, in-laws Ray and Thelma Smith of Chalfont, and countless friends and family members.

He will be dearly missed as a loving husband, father, son, friend, coach, mentor, and volunteer, and his memory will be forever treasured by all who loved him.

His visitation and Funeral Service will be held privately by the family due to the current pandemic. They are most appreciative and grateful for all those who have reached out and for all the support and love that you have shared with them during this most difficult time in their lives.

In lieu of flowers, donations for a soccer scholarship through PA Rush in Dwayne’s name may be made through https://charity.gofundme.com/o/en/campaign/dwayne-henriksson-player-scholarship-fund/lenapevalleysoccerclubparush
