Patricia Anne “Pat” Moore (Lockwood)

Patricia Anne “Pat” Moore of Doylestown died peacefully at home on Friday, January 8, 2021.  She was 75.  Pat was the loving wife of Ronald E. Moore with whom she had shared 54 years of love, life, and family.

Pat was born in Ontario, Canada.  She was the daughter of the late Ray and Magdalena Tempich Lockwood. She met her high school sweetheart and future husband, Ron, in tenth grade and they remained together from that time on.  She graduated from Stratford College with a teaching degree and began her career as an elementary school teacher.  Her focus shifted to caring for her family, the primary joy in her life.  Patricia, Ron, and their children relocated to the United States in 1988 and have enjoyed their lives in both New Jersey and Doylestown, PA.

Pat loved being a grandmother, and caring for her two granddaughters was her true passion. Additionally, Pat loved playing bridge, board games, and Words with Friends.  She enjoyed Broadway shows and Friday night movies in town.  She was also the biggest supporter of her granddaughters’ ballet and musical theater performances.  She was always up for an adventure, whether it was riding roller coasters or air boats in the Everglades.  She travelled the world from the Caribbean to Europe with her husband and family and cherished the time they all shared together in Tuscany, Italy.  Later in life, Pat and Ron spent the colder months of the year in Florida.

Pat possessed a strength, energy, and kindness that drew people to her.  She was always the life of the party, sharing entertaining stories and laughter.  She will be dearly missed.

In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by her children, Jennifer Moore Aguilar (husband Kai) of Doylestown and Jeffrey R. Moore of New Hope; her adoring granddaughters, Isabella Rae and Cecilia Kai Aguilar; her sister, Judy Kuli (husband George) of Canada; and countless other relatives and friends.

In the interest of safety for family and friends, Pat’s services will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Bucks County SPCA or Share Food Program in Philadelphia.
