Isaltina Ramos

Isaltina Ramos passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021, in her home in Chalfont, Pennsylvania. She was 85.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jamie Ramos.

Born on November 25, 1935 in Lagarelhos, Chaves, Portugal, Isaltina moved to Philadelphia in 1977 with her family of four. She worked at Cardone Industries for over 20 years before retiring and moving to Horsham, Pennsylvania and then to Chalfont in 2002. Since 2019, she enjoyed living with her daughter, Sandra Brady, her son-in-law, Matthew, and her grandchildren Jeffrey and Laura. A skilled seamstress, she enjoyed creative activities like knitting and crocheting, as well as watching Portuguese shows (especially game shows) and reading the Bible.

Isaltina is also survived by her son, Joe Ramos, his wife Christina; her grandchildren Hudson and Hampton; two sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be held for the immediate family on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave., New Britain, PA 18901. Relatives and friends are invited to watch the service via livestream below and to attend the internment that will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Doylestown Cemetery, 215 E. Court St., Doylestown, PA 18901.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
