Born in Philadelphia, she was the devoted daughter of the late William and Mae Magerum Sanders, her parents loved her with all their hearts. Being an only child she was treated like a princess and that followed into married life with her husband also putting her on a pedestal.

Dolores truly enjoyed special moments and activities with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she will be remembered as a loving Mom, Gaga, Nannie, Grandmom.
She was always vibrantly dressed, colorfully manicured and made sure to wear her make-up. She made an impression that earned her the nicknames of "Foxy Trot" and " Miss Fancy Pants"
She cared for her neighbors and the staff at Chestnut Point where she resided and was known as the "Mayor" or "Queen".
