Jean Marie Oestreich (Mastripolito)

Jean Marie Oestreich of Huntingdon Valley died peacefully on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Holy Redeemer Hospital.  She was 86.

Jean Marie was the loving wife of the late James Oestreich.

Born in Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Philip and Louise Falco Mastripolito and mother of the late Mark Oestreich and the late Gale Parton.

A graduate of Little Flower High School, Jean went on to lead a long career with PECO that spanned over 30 years.  She opted for an early retirement as she looked forward to a future of spoiling her grandkids and spending time with friends.  She enjoyed her Thursdays spent at the hair dresser and never missed an episode of Jeopardy.

Jean also found enjoyment in countless trips to the casinos, going to the movies with friends and gathering people together for a good meal.  Most of all, she will be missed as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Jean Marie is survived by her sons, Craig Oestreich of Pottstown and James Oestreich of Warrington; her sister, Theresa Newman; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Oestreich; and her son-in-law, Michael Parton.  She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, her son, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Philip Mastripolito; and her brother-in-law, Thomas Newman.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 9:30 AM until her Memorial Service at 10:00 AM at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19116.  Her interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to The American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St, Philadelphia, PA 19116 or Operation Ward 57 at Operation Ward 57, PO Box 80055, Seattle, WA 98108.
