Janet M. Fry (Lavigne)

Janet M. Fry of Richboro died at her home on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Janet was the loving wife of the late Grant G. Fry with whom she had shared 62 years of marriage until his death in February of 2021.  They shared 53 years of their marriage in their home in Richboro.

Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Arthur G. and Anna Wambach Lavigne and loving mother of the late Kenneth Fry.

For Janet, family was always paramount. Whether it was crafting something special using her skills in ceramics or knitting or chronicling the family through her extensive scrap books, she took great pride in sharing her creations with those she loved.  Janet also took gathering everyone together very seriously especially during the holidays.

A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Janet always saw to it that her children were safe and where they needed to be, and also, many will remember Janet never missing her son’s concerts, swim meets, games, and her granddaughter’s dance recitals.  She will be dearly missed and her memory forever treasured.

Surviving are her sons, Randolph Fry and his wife, Lisa of Jamison and Scott Fry and his wife, Barbara of Harleysville; her sister Frances Lavigne; her granddaughter, Ashley Fry; step-granddaughters, Maria and Christine DiPaolo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 9:00 AM until her Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet’s memory to the Bucks County SPCA, PO Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931, or to the charity of your choice that would honor her life.
