Charles J. Murtaugh

Charles J. Murtaugh, age 82, died May 24, 2021, at his home.

Beloved husband of Kathleen (Carr).

Charles was born in Philadelphia to the late Henrietta Murtaugh (Mazari).

He is predeceased by his sister, Alice Basaras. He is survived by stepbrothers, Steven and Joseph Murtaugh. He was brother-in-law to Elizabeth Cocchini (Ron), John Carr, Mary Bruno (Anthony), Christina Carr, and the late Gerald and late Michael Carr (Debra.) He is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was proud to have served in the United States Marine Corps. Charles was retired from Roofers Local 30/30B where he worked as a roofer, foreman and business agent.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Joseph A. Fluehr, III, Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd., (at Holland Road,) Richboro, PA 18953. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
