Carol Lynn Pulsinelli (Butterton)

Carol Lynn Pulsinelli of Newtown died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.  She was 81.

Carol was the loving wife of the late Frank B. Pulsinelli with whom she was reunited with in death, along with their son, the late Edward Michael Pulsinelli.

Born in Penndel, PA she was the daughter of the late George and Edith Evans Butterton and sister of the late Clyde Butterton.

A graduate of Neshaminy High School, Carol spent many years doing what was most important to her, caring for her family.  After her children were grown she found a new career as a Court Administrator for Bucks County where she spent 18 years working until her retirement. Carol was also proud of her work as a judge for the United States Gymnastic Federation.

Most of all, family came first and foremost for Carol.  Whether it was weekends at the shore with her husband and family or making sure never to miss a single sporting event for her kids and grandkids, you could always count on Carol’s warm smile and legendary belly laugh to be a part of whatever was happening in the family.  Horse shows, gymnastics tournaments, soccer games, baseball games, and the list goes on and on; Carol never missed a beat when it came to simply being there for everything.  She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Surviving are her daughters: Jill Goldberg and her husband, Dr. Steven Goldberg, of New Hope and Pamela Westermann and her husband, Robert Westermann of Newtown. She also leaves behind her brother, Thomas Butterton of Arkansas; her daughter-in-law, Gail Pulsinelli; and her grandchildren, Melanie, Krissy, Taylor, Cole, Zoe, Mason, Sonia, Chase, Madison and Jake.

Carol’s family will receive friends on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM until her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will take place private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
