Joan K. Knebels (White)

Joan Kathleen Knebels of Langhorne, died peacefully on Thursday June 10, 2021 at Attleboro Health Care, Langhorne. She was 88.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the beloved wife of the late Paul E. Knebels who died in 2016. She was the daughter of the late Edward S. and Evelyn Walsh White, she was the oldest of the White children and was predeceased by her siblings, Rick White, Donald White and Phyllis Renner.

Joan was a graduate of Little Flower High School for Girls, class of 1950. Additionally, Joan was a member of the Little Flower Legacy Society, a generous act of her charitable contributions. She was a former resident of Newtown before moving to Attleboro and was a communicant of St. Andrew Church, Newtown.

Joan was accomplished artist and skilled in fashion design. Her career in Astrology as a clairvoyant was most notable to her friends and family. Joan was also known for her charitable contributions, especially among Native Americans, where she sponsored families and students in need.

Joan is survived by her son Stephen P. Knebels, her grandson Stephen J. Knebels and his wife Betsy; her great-grandson Stephen M. Knebels; and her youngest sister, Karen Boyle.

Joan’s family will receive condolences on Monday June 21, 2021 from 12 noon until her Prayer Service 1:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. Her Interment will be private in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to American’s for Native Americans, P.O. Box 490 Doylestown, PA 18901.
