Dolores Montemuro (Coulson)

Dolores Montemuro (née Coulson), of Villas, NJ and formerly of Philadelphia, died on July 31, 2021.  She was 91 years old.  Dolores was the devoted wife of almost 56 years to the late Donald Montemuro, who preceded her in death in 2005, and beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Nowicki Coulson.

As a child mom loved ice skating, horseback riding and dancing, where she met the love of her life, Donald. Mom’s life was dedicated to raising her five children. After Donald’s retirement, it was traveling with mom as the navigator.

They loved to dine out and play cards with friends. Their best travel spots were the Pocono Mountains and Myrtle Beach. Their favorite vacation was a 3 week trip to Italy to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary where they met Andrea Bocelli.

Dolores is survived by her children and their spouses, Stephen and Lynn Montemuro of Bensalem, Donald and Donna Montemuro of Anglesea, NJ, James and Maureen Montemuro of Langhorne, Carol and Ralph Penland of Coos Bay, OR, and Michael and Theresa Montemuro of Mt. Laurel, NJ; her five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
