Dolores Volk (Pirozek)

Dolores Jane Pirozek Volk died peacefully on August 1, 2021, at home surrounded by her beloved family. She was 84 years old.

She was the loving wife of the late Thomas J. Volk, Jr. The couple shared 55 years of family, memories, laughter and love.

Dolores’ faith was an important part of her life, starting with her youth in St. Boniface parish in Kensington, through her many years growing a family at St. Joan of Arc in Harrowgate and through her final moments before her passing.

Dolores was the devoted mother of Marytheresa (Peter) Reynolds, Paul S. Volk, Karl G. Volk and the late Thomas J. Volk III. Known as “Fluffy Gram”, she will be missed and remembered by her five granddaughters, Lyndsey, Emily, Amanda, Delaney and Kelsey. Dear sister of Gerard (Aunt Rene) Pirozek and the late Joan (Uncle Bob) Fisher, she is also survived by her many special cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 10:00am, until her Funeral Mass, 12:00pm at Assumption BVM Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Rd. in Feasterville, PA 19053. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory, to Sisters, IHM, Camilla Hall, 100 Maxis Drive, Malvern, PA 19355.
