Grace D. Franco (Mastellone)

Grace Mastellone Franco died at home in Holland, surrounded by her family. She was 77 years old.

Grace was the beloved wife of Phil Franco. Grace and Phil met when she was 13 years old and she   was a cheerleader for Phil’s football team when he played for her church.  They shared 57 years of marriage, family, laughter and fond memories together.

Born in Brooklyn, Grace was the daughter of the late Frank and Sarah Felica Mastellone. She was the sister of the late Lucille Wuest.

In addition to her husband Phil, Grace will be missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Philip Jr. and Tricia Franco and Joe and Maryann Franco.

Grace enjoyed spending time at their condo in Ocean City especially when her family joined her with her five grandchildren: Philip III, Nicholas, Lucas, Angelina and Anthony. The holidays were special to Grace as she enjoyed preparing a large meal for the family.  Her Christmas special was lasagna.

Grace was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy and her specialty was making a whiskey cake for some of the meetings.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Grace’s family on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 10:00am, until the start of her Funeral Mass, 11:00am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road in Holland, PA 18966. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Newtown, PA
