Ronald F. Bachich

Ronald F. Bachich, 83, of Warminster, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Born November 3, 1937, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Luke and Helen (Borkowski) Bachich.

He is survived by his three loving children, Bernadette Repisky (Pavel), Helene Dunn (Thomas), and Ronald A. Bachich (fiancee Christine Watson); 9 grandchildren, Philip Repisky (Ashley), Morgan Giroud (Justin), Claire, Nicole, Andrew, Tyler, Shane, Colette, and Logan; two great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Everley; sister-in-law Maria; and a daughter-in-law Kelly O'Donnell.

He was preceded in death by his ex-wife Nancy, who he considered his best friend for life, and his brother, Robert L. Bachich.

Ron graduated from Frankford High School, Philadelphia, and shortly after he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served his country in Korea for 2 years. Upon discharge, he acquired an apprenticeship at A&P Supermarket/ Super Fresh. He quickly rose through the ranks to Director of the Meat Department. Simultaneously, he studied Accounting and Finance at LaSalle College to assist with his father's tax preparation and financial advisory business, which he actively worked through this tax season.

He was an avid golfer and one of the founding members of Melrose Country Club. He enjoyed traveling with his wife’s family and also with his friends.  He loved his role as father and grandfather; he was always happy and ready to give sound advice on finances and on life. People were naturally drawn to his intelligence, wit, charm, and unique ability to meet anyone on their own level. His bluntness and sometimes harsh honesty was his expression of love for you.

His family is thankful and appreciative of the wonderful care he received from family friend Paulette.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 9:30 to10:45 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 856 Euclid Ave, Warrington, PA 18976, with his funeral mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ronald’s name to: National Federation of the Blind. 200 East Wells Street at Jernigan Place
