Julia C. Anderson (Cheek)

Julia C. Anderson, age 82, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Christ’s Home Retirement Community in Warminster.

Born November 29, 1938, in Jacksonville, FL, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Patti M. Lynch Cheek, and the widow of the late Paul G. Anderson to whom she was married 42 years until his passing in 2002.

Julia was an avid Bible student, teacher and faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Having graduated from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, her educational training was in the field of piano and voice. She was a choir member and leader. As a Certified Chaplain she ministered in several Bucks County retirement communities. She served as a volunteer librarian with the Village Library of Wrightstown and enjoyed reading and researching English history. Other hobbies included gardening, art, crochet, and travel.

Julia loved being with her family. She is survived by daughter Jennifer A. Gardener-Schoch and her husband Carl of Langhorne; son Stephen M. Anderson and his wife Flo of North Wales; and beloved grandchildren Austin James Gardener and his wife Carly, and Victoria Knighton Gardener.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life at the First Baptist Church of Wycombe, 4174 Township Line Rd, Wycombe, PA on Friday, September 24, 2021. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Her interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to First Baptist Church of Wycombe, with the added designation of “Missions”, and sent to P.O. Box 83, Wycombe, PA 18980.
