Pushpaben Pandya (Bhatt)

Pushpaben Pandya passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at her home in Ivyland. She was 97.

Born June 21, 1924 in Mahemdavad, Gujarat, India, she was the daughter of the late Ramchandra and Chanchal Bhatt, and the beloved wife of the late Prabhashankar Pandya, to whom she was married 60 years until his passing.

Her daily routine for the entirety of her life consisted of singing devotional songs to God, making, and more importantly serving, food to others, and always being a support system for anyone and everyone during their time of need. Ultimately, her faith in God, demonstrated by prayer and devotion, was her life’s greatest achievement. 

Pushpaben is survived by: children Ramesh Pandya, and his wife Vibhuti; Pinakin Pandya, and his wife Kamini; Jayshree Joshi; and Kumudini Trivedi, and her husband Jayprakash; grandchildren Harsh, Rutvik, Himani, Twara, Keyur, Kirtan, and Hardik; and great grandchildren Hailey and Yuug. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in passing by her son-in-law Hinendra Joshi and grandson Hirendradutt Trivedi.
