Katherine M. Kelly (Fanelli)

Katherine M. Kelly, 85, of Ann’s Choice in Warminster passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 7, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of Charles J. Kelly for 63 years.

Born in Philadelphia, Katherine was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Catherine Schirmer Fanelli.

Katherine was a ray of sunshine who generously shared her love with others throughout her life. She was a longtime Ambassador of Ann’s Choice, Eucharistic Minister at St. Vincent de Paul Church, and prepared countless meals for St. John’s Hospice in Philadelphia. Once retired from working in the insurance industry, Katherine enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, playing cards and surrounding herself with family and friends.  She loved to tell stories and her laughter was infectious. Katherine will be greatly missed but remembered forever by those whose lives she touched.

In addition to her husband Charles, Katherine is survived by her loving and devoted daughters: Cynthia Wolkiewicz (Raymond) and Deborah Della Pia (John Iannarelli). She is also survived by her three dear granddaughters Rachel Dailey (Pete), Shannon Wolkiewicz & Deanna Della Pia, and great-granddaughter Eliza.

Katherine’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road (at Tanyard Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will be private at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
