Jean Igusky (Remich)

Jean Igusky, of Warminster, died Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Rose Garden at Ann’s Choice. She was 78 years old.

Jean was the loving wife of the late Julius “Jay” J. Igusky. The couple had been married for 43 years when he passed in 2014.

Born in Abington, PA, Jean was the daughter of the late John and LaVerne Remich.

Jean graduated from Abington School District in Abington, PA and then became a proud graduate of Penn State University.  She met her husband while working at Social Security in the late 1960’s and later became a devoted mother and grandmother.  Jean enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, art, movies, Dunkin Donuts coffee, and Russell Stover’s chocolates! Jean’s family and friends will miss her supportive nature and witty sense of humor. 

Jean will be remembered by her children, Karen and Kyle Thompson, Susan and Wayne Campbell and Sandy Igusky; her grandchildren, Declan, Angelea and Emmalyn; her brother, James and Mary Ellen Remich and her sister, Mary and Larry Derby. Jean is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may greet Jean’s family on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 10:00am, until the start of her Funeral Mass, 11:00am at the Chapel of St. Louise de Marillac at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road in Richboro, PA 18954. Her interment will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research at 1820 West Webster Avenue; Ste. 304 in Chicago, IL 60614.
